Blind Copy

This zine was made and supported by the Try Try Zine residency in 2026. Lau’s residency concept, “artist notes in the hands of other artists,” was inspired after an encounter with Ivy Ma’s sketchbook, which Ma donated to AAA before leaving Hong Kong. For this project, Lau contacted artists Ivy Ma, Lee Kit, and Wong Wai Yin. Featuring letter correspondence, Blind Copy excavates inner pages and sections of these artists’ notebooks and art monographs by crushing, rearranging, collaging, and smearing them, creating new works.

Blind Copy 是電郵中的私密副本，也取其中文直接的翻譯意思「盲目複製」，當中部分是真的書信，部分是將挖出的手記和藝術家書內頁直接複製再創作。
